Teak Hardwood Flooring

Teak stock now comes mostly from correctly managed forests in Central America, India and Indonesia. It is extremely durable one of the few timbers that is suitable for use indoors or outdoors due to its high oil content. Mostly straight, course grained, it is usually yellowy brown to a dark golden brown with sapwood adding a silvery streak to boards. Highly stable, extremely dense and hard wearing. Does not stain well and can tend to reject some polyurethanes.
