Sadly not available from the UK any more. Very durable timber with interlocking straight grain giving tremendous strength. Good timber for shock resistance. Variety of colours within the timber from light browns through salmony pinks to yellowy greens. A strikingly beautiful wood. Quite a heavy grain pattern, takes oil and polyurethane finishes very well. Not for staining. High stability.
